Return Policy

Return Policy

For return requests, please reach out to the Surmicon Parts Team member that assisted you with your original purchase. Your Surmicon Parts Team member will be able to advise you regarding return eligibility.

  1. Unless otherwise agreed at the time of sale, all sales of Surmicon parts are final and without warranty.
  2. For non-final Surmicon parts sales, SMS Equipment must issue a return authorization before Customer may return.
  3. All return authorization requests must be accompanied by a copy of the original sales order and invoice.
  4. SMS Equipment may grant or withhold return authorization for Surmicon parts in its sole discretion.
  5. If the return is authorized, the Customer will return the Surmicon part to the location designated by SMS Equipment in resalable condition, in the original undamaged packaging, with shipping prepaid by the Customer.
  6. All authorized Surmicon parts returns are subject to a final inspection and restocking fee, which will be deducted from the total return credit amount, as follows:

  7. Shipping, handling, expediting, and other charges are not eligible for credit or refund.
  8. Return credits will be refunded in the method of original payment.
  9. Surmicon parts that are not eligible for return include:
    • Parts fabricated or manufactured for Customer.
    • Goods with a limited shelf life (e.g. oils, filters, gaskets, other rubber goods).
    • Special orders.
    • Electrical components.
    • Parts purchased more than 61 days from original invoice date.
